I mean, the Element is cool and all, but WTF. W. T. F.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
There’s no interior conversion beyond the pop-top... How in fucking nut-balling-christ is it worth that asking price?

Those camper tops are so cool. I've been seeing a lot of elements with them lately

The ursa tops aren’t cheap, and low mile AWD elements are getting in relatively short supply too. Im not saying I’d buy it, but I know people that would.

Everything old is new again, I see.

But $15,000...
For an 11 year old Honda (that’ s not an NSX) with 150,000 miles?

WAT? I’m pretty sure I could build that for less than $1000... I mean my Fiberglass laying skills are not awesome... but st ar ting at $6500???? Sure, low demand makes the price higher, but c’mon. Yes, it is a low-ish miles AWD Element, but they aren’t that great... funky, yes. Worth that kind of scratch? I mean it’s gonna be as bad as fucking VW type 2s....

I guess all the seller needs is one customer for whom it’s worth it.

I’ve had the same thought, but the people I’ve talked to who’ve tried lay out a lot of the reasons they cost money. There’s a guy who build s (built? ) these conversions for the land cruiser ( Tim has one of the few) and he stopped building them because they aren’t cost effective to make. And Tim will tell you that while they are great...they still have a few bugs to work out.
Word is they are starting up production again though...
